What Is An Individual Lease?

Individual leases represent independence. When you lease an apartment at Elara, you’ll sign your own individual lease agreement. That means you’re responsible solely for your portion of the rent and not your roommates’. The rent you pay pertains exclusively to your bedroom and your share of the unit’s total cost. No more worrying about anybody’s finances but your own!

Is A Guarantor Required?

Yes. At Elara, we require residents to have a guarantor to sign a lease. Guarantors are third parties who ensure timely and full payment of the rent. Contact us today to learn more!

Do Apartments Come Furnished?

Yes! Each of our NAU student apartments comes fully furnished! Our kitchens include ample cabinet space and a full appliance package. Communal areas include a sofa or loveseat, coffee table, flat screen in the living room, and bar stools. Bedrooms come with a bed, built-in dressers, desk, and chair.

Is Parking Available?

Yep! Residents of Elara have exclusive access to secure, covered parking and our surface lot. To discuss securing your personal parking spot, contact our leasing office. Spaces are limited and leased on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to inquire about getting your spot as soon as possible.

Where Does My Mail Go?

Each of our NAU apartments has its own mailbox in the mailroom on the first floor of the building, located near the resident lounge and leasing office. If a package doesn’t fit in the unit’s mailbox, it will be delivered to our leasing office, where staff will keep it safe until you’re ready to pick it up.

How Do I Pay My Rent?

We make things easy with our online Resident Portal. Rent can be paid entirely online and can even be automated. When you become a resident, you’ll create an account to access your Resident Portal, where you’ll see an option in the dashboard to pay your rent each month.

How Do I Make A Maintenance Request?

Submitting a maintenance request is easy. To submit a maintenance request, all residents must do is navigate to the “maintenance” tab of our community’s resident portal. There, residents can submit new maintenance requests, see a log of past requests, and track each request’s status.
